All right guys from 2i1'08, seems that we will be meeting tmr morning for the NYAA booklet thing. so everyone, if you happen to pass by,tag tis blog and keep it alive! we will be meeting at the current sec 2i1 classroom at 7.25. everyone please try to be puntual.=D and a last note here, all the best for common test which will be here in abt 2 weeks time. let's prove to everyone tat ppl from 2i1'08 is capable of great results!! all the best in studies and CCA!!

- 5 reflections from 5 articles from newspapers or magazines on political, social or economic issues such as the American Presidential Election, global financial crisis, conflicts between countries etc etc.

Sec 2 Express (English, Humanities and Science): PBL assignment.
Problem: Prior to the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games on 8th of August 2008, there was a great concern among the participating countries about the pollution in Beijing, China.
Task:
Do research on the following.
· Brief history about the origin of Marathon.
· Find out who was the world famous marathon runner who refused to run at Beijing Olympics because of pollution.
· Why the participating countries were concerned about pollution in Beijing.
· What measures were taken by the Chinese Government to minimize the problems of pollution.
Put up a long list of recommendations to the Beijing Government to help them minimize pollution in the long run.

* You are to work in groups of 3 to 4.
* Your write-up should be about 300 words. You should also design a poster that encourages people to help stop pollution.
* You are not to copy wholesale from the Internet or other sources. All work done must be in your own words.
* You must include the sources of your information e.g. Websites, reference books etc.
* Hand in on the first week of 2009. Marks awarded will be counted as part of CA1 for next year.

2I1, for those who are going for the class chalet, please try to think of a few games that can be played during the chalet. Although some of you may think that this should be done by the organizers, but I think everyone who is going have the responsibility to contribute and help out. I feel that if you all have some ideas what to do during the chalet, you should sound out and tell us about it. Even if you don't, you should also take the initiative to think about it. I'm sure it won't take up much of your time. We have contributed in our time as the organizers and I feel that you should too. It's not just the organizers' responsibility to make the class chalet a fun and successful one; rather, it's everyone's responsibility.
If everyone put in the effort to help out, I'm sure the class chalet will turn out fine.

Ps, There's only 34 more days before we move on. So yea, you should know what I mean.

For those who hav received my msg, hope that you can cooperate with me and take one short video clip..
I think i will make myself clear.. If those who dont intend to do so or did not even think about what i said, then i will also not giv a fucking damn about it anymore.. If you think that it's a load of crap and waste of time, then i will also not fucking waste my own time and effort to care this fucking class anymore..

today is the official date of 2i1'08's existence. time doesn't wait for us, leaving us juz memories of it. But, all of them are fond memories to me and i believe even though there will never be another 2i1'08 in the future, the existence of it will always be in 43 hearts, naming our whole class plus our 2 form teachers, mrs tay and ms lim. Through this 2 yrs, we went through quite alot didn't we, during 2007, we had orientation camp, learning journeys,some bonding periods.2008 is a much wondeful yr, everyone got along better and we went through even more tis year. Our sec2 adventure camp, whr group 2 won the best group of the camp. i can still rmb wat melvin and eugene said: We are the best class. We were so united during the camp tat i felt tat 2i1 is juz lyk a big family. There are the newspaper recycling CIP, flag day, charity bazzar, Sports carnival, and there are alot more which i might have forgotten(im so srry) but nonetheless, all tis activities had helped us to noe each other better and i will never forget each and everyone of you. the last day of school, im very guilty tat i didnt do anything bonding activities for the class, and im srry i've been slacking as the monitor tis whole yr, i hope everyone will be happy,doing well in everything!!

EVERYONE,2I1 WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST CLASS, NO MATTER WAT HAPPENS,2I1 WILL REMAIN THE BEST. WE STRIVE FOR THE SPIRIT NEVER KNOWN BEFORE AND WILL STRIVE FOR GLORY!!

60+ days more.. Just only 60+ days.. Before 2I1 2008 ceases it's existence.. I hope that everyone can treasure this time we have left.. Participate actively for all the following activities we are organizing.. Please try not to have any past feeling etc for anyone and try to join in all the activities.. It may be hard, but it may also be the last time we will be together.. You may not understand it until it is really gone..
So before 2I1 08 is gone, before we face our different destinies, I hope everyone will have wonderful memories together without any regrets..

P.s. If you really do have feelings for this class, do take my words into consideration.. If not, there's not much I can really do..
